The Bechamel is a thick and soft sauce used for some of our favorite comfort foods like lasagna, and croque-monsieur. It is also a nice base for some gratins like cauliflower gratin.
It is fast and simple to make and will make some warm and comforting dishes.

Ingredients
 
 

  • 30 g All-purpose Flour
  • 30 g butter 30g
  • 50 cl milk 50cl
  • 1 pinch salt pepper
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Gather the ingrédients.
  • Melt the butter on a saucepan.
  • Add the flour and mix until it becomes slightly brown.
  • Add the milk and the spices at a low temperature and mix until the consistency thicken.
  • You are ready when you have a creamy consistency. Et voilà!
